VILLAGE HALL RENTAL

The Shoppes At Lafayette now rents out the Village Hall for special events. If you have a birthday party, wedding party, bridal shower, baby shower, anniversary party, craft party, or just about any other party, give us a call.

  • Chairs available to Seat 70 persons - HOWEVER - COVID-19 restriction is currently 25 persons maximum
  • Four tables – you may bring in additional tables
  • Rest Room
  • No kitchen facilities
  • Half day (4 hours) or full day rentals
  • Vehicles, other than maintenance/construction vehicles, are not allowed in the inner loop during store hours, 10:00AM - 5:00PM

Requirements:

  • Tenant will properly dispose of all rubbish, garbage and other waste or recycle material in containers as designated by the landlord
  • Tenant will leave and surrender the Premises to Landlord in broom clean condition
  • No alteration, additions or improvements will be made to the premises
  • Any signs must be approved in writing by the Landlord
  • Tenant cannot assign, sublet or sublease the Premises
  • In some cases, Landlord may require Tenant liability Insurance. The tenant will procure said liability insurance at Tenant’s own cost and expense.  Tenant will provide Certificate of Insurance (COI) to Landlord.
  • Event Agreement must be signed to hold the time slot. Additional Requirements as per the Event Agreement.

Additional COVID Requirements:

  • The use of the Village Hall must meet the requirements of the State of New Jersey, County of Sussex, and Lafayette Township. The maximum occupancy of the Village Hall in normal times is 70 persons sitting.  The requirements for the use of the Hall as of March, 2021 are listed.  The Tenant is responsible for ensuring these requirements are met.
  • Any person who feels sick, has trouble breathing, has a cough or has a temperature must not enter the building.
  • Face Masks must be worn in the Hall.
  • Maximum number of people for in-door public gathering is established by the state,  25 persons.
  • Tenant is responsible to insure there is hand sanitizer available at the front door.

FEES:

    1. Half Day (4 hours) – $300.00 with $100.00 security Deposit. Security Deposit is required to hold the time slot.
    2. Full Day (8 – 10 hours typical) – $600.00 with $150.00 security deposit. Security Deposit is required to hold the time slot.
    3. Non-Profit Half Day – $150.00
    4. Non-Profit Full Day – $300.00
